The wall that closes this scene is built like a puzzle. Some pieces do not fit together, which assumes that they were not properly assembled or that the game was rigged from the start. The character fantasized by Maurice smokes like him, at the window of his makeshift hut, fragile and destructible. The face cut out and taped on my face is a portrait of Andrée Putman by Annie Leibovitz.
